Ja`far b. Muhammad b. Masrur narrated to us. He said: Al-Husayn b. Muhammad b. `Amer narrated to us from his uncle `Abdullah b. `Amer from Muhammad b. Abi `Umayr from Aban b. `Uthman from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad . He said:

The Messenger of Allah (s) visited Salman al-Farisi in his illness, so he said: O Salman! Surely, in your illness, you have three characteristics: (1) You are in a state of remembering Allah, (2) your supplications in it are accepted, (3) the illness will not leave you until it causes your sins to fall. May Allah gratify you with wellness until your time expires.
