Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Yahya al-`Attar narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. `Abd al-Jabbar narrated to me from al-Hasan b. `Ali b. Abi Hamza. He said: Dawud b. Kathir al-Raqqi informed me. He said: I heard Aba `Abdillah al-Sadiq say:

Whoever would like Allah to lighten his pangs of death should maintain his kinship ties and be good to his parents, for if he does that, Allah will protect him from the pangs of death; and he will never be afflicted with poverty in his life.
