Al-Husayn b. Ahmad b. Idris narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to me. He said: Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Khalid narrated to me from his father from Muhammad b. Abi `Umayr from `Abdullah b. al-Hasan b. al-Hasan b. `Ali from his father from his grandfather. He said:

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Whoever blesses Muhammad and his family, Allah says: “Allah blesses you”; so, he should increase in [saying] that. Whoever says: “may Allah bless Muhammad” and does not bless his family will not find the fragrance of Paradise; and its fragrance could be found at the travel distance of five hundred years away.
