My father narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. al-Husayn al-Sa`d Abadi narrated to us from Ahmad b. Abi `Abdillah al-Barqi from `Uthman b. `Isa from `Abdullah b. Muskan from Muhammad b. Muslim from Abi `Abdillah al-Sadiq . He said:

There are three among the creation that will be closest to Allah on the Day of Resurrection until He completes the Judgment: (1) A man who does not use his strength during his state of anger against those under his hands, (2) a man who walks between two people and does not lean toward the other [in preference], (3) a man who speaks the truth, whether it is against him or for him.
