My father narrated to us. He said: `Abdullah b. al-Hasan al-Mu’addab narrated to us from Ahmad b. `Ali al-Isfahani from Ibrahim b. Muhammad al-Thaqafi. He said: Abu Raja’ Qurayba b. Sa`id narrated to us from Hammad b. Zayd from `Abd al-Rahman al-Sarraj from Nafi` from `Abdullah b. `Umar. He said:

The Messenger of Allah (s) said to `Ali b. Abi Talib : On the Day of Resurrection, you will be given – O `Ali – a garment of light, and upon your head will be a crown with an illuminating light [so bright that] it will almost put out the vision of the people of the judgment. Then, a call will come from Allah: “Where is the vicegerent of Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah?” So, you will say: “I am he.” He said: So, the caller will call: “O `Ali! Take your lovers to Paradise and those who opposed you to the Fire.” You are the divider of Paradise, and you are the divider of the Fire.
