9 - حدثنا محمد بن إبراهيم بن إسحاق الطالقاني (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا أبو سعيد الحسن بن علي العدوي، قال: حدثنا محمد بن تميم، عن الحسن بن عبد الرحمن، عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن، عن الحكم بن عتيبة، عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى، عن أبيه، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله):
لا يؤمن عبد حتى أكون أحب إليه من نفسه، وأهلي أحب إليه من أهله، وعترتي أحب إليه من عترته، وذاتي أحب إليه من ذاته. قال: فقال رجل من القوم: يا أبا عبد الرحمن، ما تزال تجئ بالحديث يحيي الله به القلوب (4).
Muhammad b. Ibrahim b. Ishaq al-Talaqani
narrated to us. He said: Abu Sa`id al-Hasan b. `Ali al-`Adawi narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Tamim narrated to us from al-Hasan b. `Abd al-Rahman from Muhammad b. `Abd al-Rahman from al-Hakam b. `Atiyya from `Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Layla from his father. He said:
The Messenger of Allah (s) said: No worshiper will have believed until I am more beloved to him than himself, and my family is more beloved to him than his family, and my progeny is more beloved to him than his progeny, and my essence is more beloved to him than his essence. He said: So, a man from the community said: O Aba `Abd al-Rahman! You did not stop from bringing this hadith by which Allah has enlivened our hearts.
