My father narrated to us. He said: Sa`d b. `Abdullah narrated to us from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa from al-`Abbas b. Ma`ruf from al-Husayn b. Yazid al-Nawfali from al-Ya`qubi from `Isa b. `Abdullah al-`Alawi from his father from Abi Ja`far Muhammad b. `Ali al-Baqir from his father from his grandfather . He said:

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Whoever would be joyed by traversing the Path like a strong wind and entering Paradise without judgment, then he should align with my friend, my deputy, my companion, and my vicegerent over my family and my Nation, `Ali b. Abi Talib. Whoever would be joyed by entering the Fire, then he should abandon his wilaya, for by my Lord’s majesty and glory, he is the gate through which Allah is come to. He is the Straight Path, and he is the one whose wilaya Allah will ask about on the Day of Resurrection.
