Ja`far b. Muhammad b. Masrur narrated to us. He said: Al-Husayn b. Muhammad b. `Amer narrated to us from his uncle `Abdillah b. `Amer from Muhammad b. Sinan from Talha b. Zayd from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad from his father from his forefathers . He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said:

An abundance of jesting will recede the water in one’s face, and an abundance of laughing will erase one’s faith, and an abundance of lying will diminish one’s radiance.
