Muhammad b. Ibrahim b. Ishaq narrated to us. He said: Abu’l `Abbas Ahmad b. Ishaq al-Madiri narrated to us in Basra in Rajab in the year 318 AH. He said: Abu Qilaba `Abd al-Malik b. Muhammad narrated to us. He said: Ghanim b. al-Hasan al-Sa`di narrated to us. He said: Muslim b. Khalid al-Makki narrated to us. He said: Ja`far b. Muhammad narrated to us from his father from Jabir b. `Abdullah al-Ansari from `Ali b. Abi Talib . He said:

Fatima said to the Messenger of Allah (s): O father! Where can I find you on the Day of the Great Stand, the Day of Horrors, and the Day of Great Dismay? He said: O Fatima! At the Gate of Paradise. I will have the Banner of Praise, and I am the intercessor for my Nation to my Lord. She said: O father! What if I do not find you there? He said: Find me at the Pond, where I will feed water to my Nation. She said: O father! What if I do not find you there? He said: Find me on the Path, where I will be standing and saying: “My Lord! Safeguard my Nation.” She said: What if I do not find you there? He said: Find me at the Scale, where I will be saying: “My Lord! Safeguard my Nation.” She said: What if I do not find you there? He said: Find me at the mouth of Hell, where I will be preventing its evil and its flames from my Nation. So, Fatima was gladdened by that – may the blessings of Allah be upon her, and upon her father, her husband, and her children.
