Muhammad b. Ahmad b. `Ali b. Asad al-Asadi narrated to us. He said: Ya`qub b. Yusuf b. Hazim narrated to us. He said: `Umar b. Isma`il b. Mujalid narrated to us. He said: Hafs b. Ghiyath narrated to us from Bard b. Sinan from Makhul from Wathila b. al-Ashqa`. He said:

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Do not gloat over the misfortune of your brother, or else Allah will have mercy on him and cause you tribulation.
