Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Yahya al-`Attar narrated to us. He said: Sa`d b. `Abdullah narrated to us. He said: Al-Haytham b. Abi Masruq al-Nahdi narrated to us from al-Hasan b. Mahbub from Malik b. `Atiyya from Durays al-Kinasi from Abi Ja`far Muhammad b. `Ali al-Baqir from his forefathers .

The Messenger of Allah (s) passed by a man planting a plant in a wall of his. So, he went to him and said: Shall I not lead you to a plant with the firmest roots, the quickest ripening, the sweetest fruits, and the longest-lasting produce? He said: Of course – may my father and my mother be your sacrifice, O Messenger of Allah. So, he said: When you awake and when you go to sleep, say “may Allah be glorified, praise be to Allah, there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the greatest” (subhanallah, walhamdulillah, wa la ilaha ilallah, wallahu akbar).” If you say that, with each glorification you will have ten trees in Paradise with a variety of fruits – these are from the everlasting, goodly things. He said: So, the man said: I bear you witness, O Messenger of Allah. This wall of mine is a charity given to the poor Muslims of the Ahl al-Suffah. So, Allah revealed, “He who gives and fears and testifies to goodness, We shall surely ease his way to bliss.” (92:5-7)
