Ahmad b. al-Hasan, popular as the father of `Ali b. `Abduwayh narrated to us. He said: al-Hasan b. `Ali al Sikri narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Zakariyya al-Jawhari narrated to us. He said: al-`Abbas b. Bikar narrated to us. He said: al-Husayn b. Yazid narrated to me from `Umar b. `Ali b. al-Husayn from Fatima b. al-Husayn from Asma’ bt. Abu Bakr from Safiyya bt. `Abd al-Muttablib. She said: When Husayn was delivered from the womb of his mother, I was with her.

The Prophet (s) said: O aunt! Bring my son to me. I said: O Messenger of Allah! We have not cleansed him yet. So, the Messenger of Allah (s) said: O aunt! Will you cleanse him?! Surely, Allah has already cleansed and purified him.
