`Ali b. `Abdullah al-Warraq narrated to us. He said: Sa`d b. `Abdullah b. Abi Khalaf narrated to us. He said: `Imran b. Musa narrated to us from al-Hasan b. `Ali b. al-Nu`man from Muhammad b. Fudayl b. Ghazwan al-Dabi. He said: `Abd al-Rahman b. Ishaq informed me from al-Nu`man b. Sa`d. He said: Amir al-Mu’minin `Ali b. Abi Talib said:

A man from my descendants will be killed oppressively with poison in the land of Khurasan. His name is my name, and the name of his father is the name of the son of `Imran, Musa . Surely, whoever visits him in his isolation, Allah will forgive his past and future sins, even if they are similar in number to the stars, rain droplets, and leaves on trees.
