Al-Husayn b. Ahmad narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to us. He said: Ibrahim b. Hashim narrated to us from al-Husayn b. Yazid al-Nawfali from Isma`il b. Abi Ziyad al-Sukuni from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad from his father from his forefathers from `Ali . He said:

Take to supplication in five places: (1) When reciting the Quran, (2) When the adhan [is called], (3) When rain falls, (4) When two rows meet for martyrdom, and (5) at the call of the oppressed, for it does not have a barrier under the Throne.
