Muhammad b. Musa al-Mutawakkil narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. al-Husayn al-Sa`d al-Abidi narrated to us. He said: Ahmad b. Abi `Abdillah al-Barqi narrated to us from his father from Muhammad b. Ziyad from Aban and someone else from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad . He said:

Whoever completes his fast with a good saying or a good action, Allah will accept his fast. So, it was said to him: O son of the Messenger of Allah! What is the good saying? He said: The testimony that there is no god but Allah; and the good action is giving out [zakat] al-Fitra.
