2. My father, may Allah grant him mercy, said: We were told by Muhammed bin Yahya, from Ahmad bin Muhammed, and Muhammed bin Hussain, from Muhammed bin Yahya al-Khath’ami, from Ghiyath bin Ibrahim, from Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him, from his father, from his grandfather, peace be upon them both, that he said: Ali, Allah’s blessings be upon him, said:

Do not say: «Ramadhan», however, say: «the Month of Ramadhan», for indeed, you do not know what Ramadhan is.
