3. We were told by my father, may Allah grant him mercy, that he said: We were told by Ahmad bin Idrees, that he said: We were told by Muhammed bin Ahmad bin Yahya bin Imran al-Ash’ari, from Muhammed bin Isa bin Ubayd, from Hasan bin Rashid, that he said: I asked Abu’l-Hasan al-Askari, peace be upon him, in Medina about a man who bequeathed with what he had (that it should be spent) for the Path of Allah. He said:

The Path of Allah is our Shi’a.
