63- قال: وسئل بعض أصحابنا عن علي بن رباط: هل سمع أحدا روى عن أبي الحسن عليه السلام أنه قال: علي ابني وصيي، أو إمام بعدي، أو بمنزلتي من أبي، أو خليفتي،أو معنى هذا. قال: لا.
H 63 - One of our scholars [Musawi Waqifiya] asked Ali bin Rabat: Have you heard from anyone that Abul Hasan Musa said: My son Ali, is my successor or the Imam after me or said he is with relation to me as I was to my father. Or that he is my Caliph and successor or something to the effect? He replied: No.
<p class='libAr' dir='rtl'>فليس فيه أكثر من أن ابن رباط قال إنه لم يسمع أحدا يقول ذلك وإذا لم يسمع هو لا يدل على أن غيره لم يسمعه وقد قدمنا طرفا من الأخبار عمن سمع ذلك فسقط الاعتراض به.Explanation: At the most, the point mentioned in this report is that Ibn Rabat said: It is not heard from anyone that Imam Kazim عليه السلام has mentioned these points. Whereas not hearing that would not be definite proof that others have also not heard it. We have previously quoted reports about this from those who have heard them. On this basis, their objection is invalid.
