18. Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan Al-Saffār, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad, from Muḥammad ibn Ismā’īl, from Abān ibn ‘Uthmān, from Abī Hammām, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq عليه السلام) said: When you go to the grave of Ḥusain عليه السلام, recite (the following): Salām to you, O Abā ‘Abdillāh. May Allāh’s curse be upon those who killed you. May Allāh’s curse be upon those who participated in the spilling of your blood and upon those who heard about your killing and were pleased with it. I seek nearness to Allāh by dissociating myself from them.
