6 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّزَّازُ الْكُوفِيُّ الْقُرَشِيُّ عَنْ خَالِهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْخَطَّابِ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) يَقُولُ لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ حَجَّ أَلْفَ حِجَّةٍ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَأْتِ قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ (ع) لَكَانَ قَدْ تَرَكَ حَقّاً مِنْ حُقُوقِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى وَ سُئِلَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ حَقُّ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) مَفْرُوضٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ
6. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Razzāz Al-Kūfi Al-Qurashi narrated to me from his uncle Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain ibn Abil Khaťťāb, from someone who narrated to him, from ‘Ali ibn Maymūn, who said: I heard Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq ) say: Verily if one of you goes for Hajj one thousand times but does not go to (the Ziyārah of) the grave of Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali
, he has neglected one of his obligations toward Allāh, the Exalted. Then someone asked the Imam
for the reason and he replied, “Fulfilling one’s obligation toward Ḥusain
is mandatory on every Muslim.”
