6 حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الزِّبْرِقَانِ الطَّبَرِيُّ بِإِسْنَادٍ لَهُ يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى الصَّادِقِ (ع) قَالَ قُلْتُ رُبَّمَا أَتَيْنَا قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) فَيَصْعُبُ عَلَيْنَا الْغُسْلُ لِلزِّيَارَةِ مِنَ الْبَرْدِ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ فَقَالَ (ع) مَنِ اغْتَسَلَ فِي الْفُرَاتِ وَ زَارَ الْحُسَيْنَ (ع) كُتِبَ لَهُ مِنَ الْفَضْلِ مَا لَا يُحْصَى فَمَتَى مَا رَجَعَ إِلَى الْمَوْضِعِ الَّذِي اغْتَسَلَ فِيهِ وَ تَوَضَّأَ وَ زَارَ الْحُسَيْنَ (ع) كُتِبَ لَهُ ذَلِكَ الثَّوَابُ
6. Ḥasan ibn Zibriqān Al-Ťabari narrated to me through his Isnād, from someone who said: I said to Imam Sādiq , “Sometimes when we go to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain
, it is difficult to perform Ghusl because of the cold (climate) or for other reasons.” Imam
replied, “So many merits will be registered for those who go to the Euphrates (River) and perform Ghusl in it before going to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain
, that they cannot be counted. And if they return anytime (in the future) to the place where they performed Ghusl, and (instead) perform Wuďū before going to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain
, the same (extent of) rewards will be registered for them.”
