Is Equal to the Reward for Performing a Hajj and an ‘Umrah5 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ حَمْدَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ النَّيْسَابُورِيِّ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْيَمَانِيُّ عَنْ مَنِيعِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ
زِيَارَةُ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) حِجَّةٌ وَ مِنْ بَعْدِ الْحِجَّةِ حِجَّةٌ وَ عُمْرَةٌ مِنْ بَعْدِ حِجَّةِ الْإِسْلَامِ
5. My father narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā, from Abī Sa’īd Ḥamdān ibn Sulaymān Al-Naysābūri, from ‘Abdillāh ibn Muḥammad Al-Yamāni, from Manī’ ibn Ḥajjāj, from Yūnus, from Hishām ibn Sālim, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq ) said:
The Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain is (equal to) one Hajj. And after one has performed obligatory Hajj, it is equal to one Hajj and one ‘Umrah.
