Hadith #5

5 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْخَطَّابِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ أَبِي عُمَارَةَ الْمُنْشِدِ قَالَ مَا ذُكِرَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ (ع) عِنْدَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ (ع) فِي يَوْمٍ قَطُّ فَرُئِيَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ مُتَبَسِّماً قَطُّ إِلَى اللَّيْلِ

5. Muĥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Qurashi narrated to me from Muĥammad ibn Ĥusain ibn Abil Khaťťāb, from Ĥasan ibn ‘Ali, from Ibn Abǐ ‘Umayr, from ‘Ali ibn Mughǐrah, from Abǐ ‘Umārah Al-Munshid, who said: Whenever Ĥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.) was mentioned in front of Abǐ ‘Abdillāh, Ja’far ibn Muĥammad (Imam Šādiq (a.s.)) during the day, he would not be seen smiling on that day until nightfall.
