Ḥukaym ibn Dāwūd ibn Ḥukaym narrated to me from Salamah ibn Khaťťāb, from ‘Amr ibn Sa’īd, from Walīd ibn Ghassān, from someone who narrated to him, who said: The Jinn used to weep over Ḥusain and recite the following poem: To whom do these houses in Ťaf belong, the houses which were built unwillingly? These are the houses of Ḥusain and they reciprocate each other’s weeping (over Ḥusain ).
