My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, and from ‘Abdillāh ibn Ja’far Al-Ḥimyari, from Aḥmad ibn Abī ‘Abdillāh Al-Barqi, from his father Muḥammad ibn Khālid, from ‘Abdil ‘Aďīm ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn ‘Ali Al-Ḥasani, from Ḥasan ibn Ḥusain Al-‘Amri, from Ḥusain ibn Shaddād Al-Ju’fi, from Jābir (Al-Ju’fi), who said: Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir ) said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said, “No one kills the prophets or their descendants except those who are conceived illegitimately.”
