Kāmil al-Ziyārāt

1 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) تَعَالَى وَ جَمَاعَةُ مَشَايِخِي عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ كُلَيْبِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ كَانَ قَاتِلُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا وَلَدَ زِنًا وَ كَانَ قَاتِلُ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) وَلَدَ زِناً وَ لَمْ تَبْكِ السَّمَاءُ إِلَّا عَلَيْهِمَا حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ جَمِيعاً عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَهْزِيَارَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ كُلَيْبِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْأَسَدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) مِثْلَهُ

1. My father and all of my scholars narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, and from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain ibn Abil Khaťťāb, from Ja’far ibn Bashīr, from Ḥammād, from Kulayb ibn Mu’āwiyah, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: The killer of Yaḥyā ibn Zakariyyā (a.s.) was conceived illegitimately and the killer of Ḥusain (a.s.) (also) was conceived illegitimately. The sky has never cried on anyone but them. The above Ḥadīth has also been narrated to me through the following chain: Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan, and Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn Ḥusain, both from Ḥasan ibn ‘Ali ibn Mahziyār, from his father, from Ḥasan, from Faďālah ibn Ayyūb, from Kulayb ibn Mu’āwiyah Al-Asadi, from Abī ‘Abdillāh (a.s.).

2 وَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شِمْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (ع) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ص) إِنَّ فِي النَّارِ لَمَنْزِلَةً لَمْ يَكُنْ يَسْتَحِقُّهَا أَحَدٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ إِلَّا قَاتِلُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ وَ يَحْيَى بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا ع

2. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Ibrāhīm ibn Hāshim, from ‘Uthmān ibn ‘Isā, from ‘Amr ibn Shimr, from Jābir (Al-Ju’fi), from Abī Ja’far (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)), who said: The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said: There is a position in Hell that no one deserves except the killer of Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.) and the killer of Yahyā ibn Zakariyyā (a.s.).

3 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) وَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ تُقْتَلُ وَ اللَّهِ ذَرَارِيُّ قَتَلَةِ الْحُسَيْنِ بِفِعْلِ آبَائِهَا

3. My father and ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain both narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad, from Muḥammad ibn Sinān, from Ismā’īl ibn Jābir, who said: I heard Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) say: I swear to Allāh that the descendants of the killers of Ḥusain (a.s.) will be killed for the acts of their fathers.

4 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْخَالِقِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ كَانَ قَاتِلُ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) وَلَدَ زِناً وَ قَاتِلُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا وَلَدَ زِنًا

4. My father and Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan both narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan Al-Saffār, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Ibn Faďďāl, from Ibn Bukayr, from Zurārah, from ‘Abdil Khāliq, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: The killer of Ḥusain (a.s.) was conceived illegitimately and the killer of Yaḥyā ibn Zakariyyā (a.s.) was (also) conceived illegitimately.

5 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ الرَّزَّازُ عَنْ خَالِهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ مُثَنًّى عَنْ سَدِيرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (ع) يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَعَلَ قَتْلَ أَوْلَادِ النَّبِيِّينَ مِنَ الْأُمَمِ الْمَاضِيَةِ- عَلَى يَدَيْ أَوْلَادِ زِنًا

5. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Qurashi Al-Razzāz narrated to me from his uncle Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain ibn Abil Khaťťāb, from ‘Ali ibn Nu’mān, from Muthannā, from Sadīr, who said: I heard Abā Ja’far (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)) say: Verily Allāh has placed the killing of the children of the prophets from the previous nations in the hands of those who were conceived illegitimately.

6 وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ فَرْقَدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ كَانَ الَّذِي قَتَلَ الْحُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ (ع) وَلَدَ زِناً وَ الَّذِي قَتَلَ يَحْيَى بْنَ زَكَرِيَّا وَلَدَ زِنًا

6. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Qurashi Al-Razzāz narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain (ibn Abil Khaťťāb), from Safwān ibn Yaḥyā, from Dāwūd ibn Farqad, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: The killer of Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.) was conceived illegitimately and the killer of Yaḥyā ibn Zakariyyā (a.s.) was (also) conceived illegitimately.

7 وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ رِجَالِهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) فِي قَوْلِ فِرْعَوْنَ ذَرُونِي أَقْتُلْ مُوسى فَقِيلَ لَهُ مَنْ كَانَ يَمْنَعُهُ قَالَ كَانَ لِرُشْدِهِ لِأَنَّ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ وَ الْحُجَجَ لَا يَقْتُلُهَا إِلَّا أَوْلَادُ زِنًا وَ الْبَغَايَا وَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) وَ جَمَاعَةُ مَشَايِخِي عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي خَلَفٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ [بِهَذِهِ الْأَحَادِيثِ]

7. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Qurashi Al-Razzāz narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain (ibn Abil Khaťťāb), from ‘Ali ibn Asbāť, from Ismā’īl ibn Abī Ziyād, from some of his scholars, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) was asked, “Who stopped Fir’awn from killing Mūsā (a.s.) which is referred to in this verse, ‘Fir’awn said, ‘Let me kill Mūsā’ (40:26)?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “(Fir’awn could not kill Mūsā (a.s.)) because he was conceived legitimately. Verily the prophets and the Decisive Proofs are only killed by those who are conceived illegitimately and by the children of adulteresses.” The above Ḥadīth has also been narrated to me through the following chain: My father and all of my scholars, from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Abī Khalaf, from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from ‘Ali ibn Asbāť, from Ismā’īl ibn Abī Ziyād, from some of his scholars, from Abī ‘Abdillāh (a.s.). My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Ibrāhīm ibn Hāshim, from Ibn Abī ‘Umayr, from some of his companions, from Ibn Muskān, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: The killer of Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.) was conceived illegitimately.

8 وَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ قَاتِلُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ وَلَدُ زِنًا

8. My father and Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan both narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Ibrāhīm ibn Hāshim, from ‘Uthmān ibn ‘Isā, from ‘Amr ibn Shimr, from Jābir (Al-Ju’fi), who said: Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)) said: No one kills the prophets or their descendants except those who are conceived illegitimately.

9 وَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شِمْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (ع) قَالَ لَا يَقْتُلُ النَّبِيِّينَ وَ أَوْلَادَ النَّبِيِّينَ إِلَّا أَوْلَادُ زِنًا

9. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, and from ‘Abdillāh ibn Ja’far Al-Ḥimyari, from Aḥmad ibn Abī ‘Abdillāh Al-Barqi, from his father Muḥammad ibn Khālid, from ‘Abdil ‘Aďīm ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn ‘Ali Al-Ḥasani, from Ḥasan ibn Ḥusain Al-‘Amri, from Ḥusain ibn Shaddād Al-Ju’fi, from Jābir (Al-Ju’fi), who said: Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)) said: The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said, “No one kills the prophets or their descendants except those who are conceived illegitimately.”

10 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْحَسَنِيِّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ الْعَمْرِيِّ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ الْجُعْفِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (ع) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ص) لَا يَقْتُلُ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ وَ أَوْلَادَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ إِلَّا وَلَدُ زِنًا

10. Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan ibn Aḥmad ibn Walīd narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan Al-Saffār, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Ḥasan ibn ‘Ali ibn Faďďāl, from Marwān ibn Muslim, from Ismā’īl ibn Kuthayr, who said: I heard Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) say: The killer of Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.) was conceived illegitimately and the killer of Yaḥyā ibn Zakariyyā (a.s.) (also) was conceived illegitimately. The sky and the earth have never cried on anyone but them.
