3 وَ بِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَبِي الْجَارُودِ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (ع) قَالَ لَوْ أَنَّ بَيْنَنَا وَ بَيْنَ الْفُرَاتِ كَذَا وَ كَذَا مِيلًا لَذَهَبْنَا إِلَيْهِ وَ اسْتَشْفَيْنَا بِهِ
3. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from ‘Uthmān ibn ‘Isā, from Abil Jārūd (Ziyād ibn Mundhir Al-Hamdāni), who said: Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir ) said: If the distance between us and the Euphrates (River) was this much – and he mentioned a distance – we would go to it to seek cure with its water.
