حَدَّثَنِی جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَلِیٍّ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُغِیرَهِ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ أَبِی الصَّحَارِی عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ شَارِبِ الْخَمْرِ فَقَالَ لَا یَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ صَلَاتَهُ مَا دَامَ فِی عُرُوقِهِ مِنْهَا شَیْ ءٌ.
7. It was narrated to me by Ja’far b. Ali from his father from al-Hussain from his father al-Hassan b. Ali from Abdillah b. al-Mughira from al-Abbas b. ’Amir from Abi al-Sahari from Abi Abdillah who said:
Once Imam Ja’far Sadiq was asked about the ruling regarding a drunkard. Imam replied, “His prayers will not be accepted till a time even a single drop of wine is present in his veins.”
