حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ عَلِیِّ بْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِیدٍ الْمَدَائِنِیِّ عَنْ مُصَدِّقِ بْنِ صَدَقَهَ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ مُوسَی عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ: سُئِلَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ إِذَا شَرِبَ الْمُسْکِرَ مَا حَالُهُ قَالَ لَا یَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ صَلَاتَهُ أَرْبَعِینَ یَوْماً وَ لَیْسَ لَهُ تَوْبَهٌ فِی الْأَرْبَعِینَ فَإِنْ مَاتَ فِیهَا دَخَلَ النَّارَ.
14. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Ahmad from al-Hussain b. Ali b. Fadhal from ’Amru b. Sa’eed al-Madaini from Musdaq b. Sadaqah from Ammar b. Musa from Abi Abdillah who said who said:
Imam Ja’far Sadiq was asked about the ruling against the person who uses an intoxicant. Imam replied, “His prayers will not be accepted for next forty days and he cannot repent during these forty days. If he dies during these days, he will go to Hell.”
