أَبِی ره عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی نَصْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَمَاعَهَ عَنِ ابْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لَهُ أَیُّ الصَّدَقَهِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ جُهْدُ الْمُقِلِّ أَ مَا سَمِعْتَ قَوْلَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- وَ یُؤْثِرُونَ عَلی أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَ لَوْ کانَ بِهِمْ خَصاصَهٌ تَرَی هَاهُنَا فَضْلًا.
16. Abi 
from Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Abi Nasr from Muhammad b. Sama’a from Ibn Mihran from his father from Abi Basir from one of them who said: The narrator asked Imam Muhammad Baqir 
or Imam Ja’far Sadiq , “Which Sadaqah is the best?” Imam replied,
“Sadaqah given from a little wealth. Didn’t you hear Allah’s saying: ‘and prefer (them) before themselves though poverty may afflict them’? Do you realize its excellence now?”
