4. And with this chain of narration from Ahmad, from his father, and Muhammad ibn 'Isa, from Safwan ibn Yahya, from Abu Ayyub al-Khazzaz, from Abu Basir, from Abu Abdillah , who said:
"Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to his companions one day, 'Do you think that if you were to gather what you have of clothing and utensils, then placed them atop one another, would you perceive them reaching the sky?' They replied, 'No, O Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'Shall I not inform you of something whose root is in the earth and its branches in the sky?' They said, 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'One of you, upon completing the obligatory prayer, should say: Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), La ilaha illallah (There is no god but Allah), Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greater than what can be described); thirty times. For indeed, their root is in the earth and their branches are in the sky. They prevent destruction, fire, drowning, falling in a well, consumption by wild beasts, death due to accidents, and the affliction that descends from the sky upon the servant on that day. They are the enduring good deeds.'"
