Ḥadīth #42
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَی بْنِ الْمُتَوَکِّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِمْیَرِیُّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ إِنَّ لِمَوْضِعِ قَبْرِ الْحُسَیْنِ ع حُرْمَهً مَعْرُوفَهً مَنْ عَرَفَهَا وَ اسْتَجَارَ بِهَا أُجِیرَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ تَصِفُ لِی مَوْضِعَهَا جُعِلْتُ فِدَاکَ قَالَ امْسَحْ مِنْ مَوْضِعِ قَبْرِهِ الْیَوْمَ خَمْسَهً وَ عِشْرِینَ ذِرَاعاً مِنْ نَاحِیَهِ رَأْسِهِ وَ خَمْسَهً وَ عِشْرِینَ ذِرَاعاً مِنْ نَاحِیَهِ رِجْلَیْهِ وَ خَمْسَهً وَ عِشْرِینَ ذِرَاعاً مِنْ خَلْفِهِ وَ خَمْسَهً وَ عِشْرِینَ ذِرَاعاً مِمَّا یَلِی وَجْهَهُ.
42. It is narrated that Imam Ja’far Sadiq 
said that the place of grave of Imam Husain is honored and well- known. One who seeks protection knowing its right, would be safeguarded. The narrator asked, “May I be sacrificed on you, tell me about the area of that place.” Imam replied, “The radius of H2hands is included in the area of his grave.”
