أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ سُلَیْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ الزُّرْبِیُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَرْحُومٍ الْأَزْدِیِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ
مَنْ صَامَ أَوَّلَ یَوْمٍ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّهُ وَ مَنْ صَامَ یَوْمَیْنِ نَظَرَ اللَّهُ إِلَیْهِ فِی کُلِّ یَوْمٍ وَ لَیْلَهٍ فِی دَارِ الدُّنْیَا وَ دَامَ نَظَرُهُ إِلَیْهِ فِی الْجَنَّهِ وَ مَنْ صَامَ ثَلَاثَهَ أَیَّامٍ زَارَ اللَّهَ فِی عَرْشِهِ مِنْ جَنَّتِهِ کُلَّ یَوْمٍ.
4. The narrator says that he heard Imam Ja’far Sadiq say,
“One who fasts on first of Shaban then surely, Paradise would be made obligatory for him. If he observes two fasts, the Almighty Allah would look at him with mercy in this world every day and night. He would also shower His mercy on him in Paradise. One who fasts for three days would get to visit Allah daily on the Divine throne in Paradise.”
