A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid who has said that Yahya ibn ‘Amr from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan narrated to me from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah has said, ‘Allah, the Most Blessed, the Most High, revealed to one of His prophets this: “Excellent moral behavior melts down sins just as the sun melts down hoarfrost.’””
