14ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ عَنِ الْعَلاءِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) إِذَا خَالَطْتَ النَّاسَ فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ أَنْ لا تُخَالِطَ أَحَداً مِنَ النَّاسِ إِلا كَانَتْ يَدُكَ الْعُلْيَا عَلَيْهِ فَافْعَلْ فَإِنَّ الْعَبْدَ يَكُونُ فِيهِ بَعْضُ التَّقْصِيرِ مِنَ الْعِبَادَةِ وَيَكُونُ لَهُ حُسْنُ خُلُقٍ فَيُبَلِّغُهُ الله بِ [ حُسْنِ ] خُلُقِهِ دَرَجَةَ الصَّائِمِ الْقَائِمِ.
14. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from al- Husayn ibn al-Mukhtar from ‘Ala’ ibn Kamil from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “In your association with people you should have the upper hand (to benefit them), if you are able to do so. A servant (of Allah) who has shortcomings in his worship may have commendable moral behavior with which Allah grants him a reward of the degree of one who worships all nights and fasts all days.”
