11ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِي سَارَةَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ لا يَكُونُ الْمُؤْمِنُ مُؤْمِناً حَتَّى يَكُونَ خَائِفاً رَاجِياً وَلا يَكُونُ خَائِفاً رَاجِياً حَتَّى يَكُونَ عَامِلاً لِمَا يَخَافُ وَيَرْجُو.
11. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Sinan from ibn Muskan from al-Hassan ibn abu Sarah who has said the following:
“I heard Abu ‘Abdillah saying, ‘A believer is not a believer until he is fearing and hopeful. He cannot become fearing and hopeful until he comes to know what to fear and in whom to have hope.’”
