12ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام)
الْكَذَّابُ هُوَ الَّذِي يَكْذِبُ فِي الشَّيْءِ قَالَ لا مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلا يَكُونُ ذَلِكَ مِنْهُ وَلَكِنَّ الْمَطْبُوعَ عَلَى الْكَذِبِ.
12. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ‘Abd al- Rahman ibn al-Hajjaj who has said the following:
“Once I asked Abu ‘Abdillah ‘Is a liar one who lies about something?’ The Imam said, ‘No, there is no one who does not do so. It is those in whom lying becomes a thing of second nature.’”
