3ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُقَيْلٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام)
إِنَّمَا أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمُ اثْنَتَيْنِ اتِّبَاعَ الْهَوَى وَطُولَ الأمَلِ أَمَّا اتِّبَاعُ الْهَوَى فَإِنَّهُ يَصُدُّ عَنِ الْحَقِّ وَأَمَّا طُولُ الأمَلِ فَيُنْسِي الآخِرَةَ.
3. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu’alla ibn Muhammad from al- Washsha’ from ‘Asim ibn Humayd from abu Hamza from Yahya ibn ‘Aqil who has said the following: “Amir al-Mu’minin, Ali ibn abu Talib has said,
‘I am afraid for you from two things: following your desires and your never ending hopes of worldly matters; following of desires obstructs one from the truth and never ending hope in worldly matters makes one forget the hereafter.’”
