The Prophet completed the funeral prayer for Sa`d ibn Mu`adh, and said: Seventy thousand angels appeared any prayed for him (i.e. prayer of the deceased). Among them was Jibra`il, so I asked him: “O Jibra’il! What did he do to deserve all of your prayers?” He replied: “His recitation of (the chapter) Say: He, Allah is One, standing, sitting, riding, walking, coming and going.”
