20. Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn al-Sinani said: Muhammad ibn Abu `Abd Allah al-Asadi al-Kufi said, on the authority of Musa ibn `Imran al-Nakha`I, on the authority of his paternal uncle al-Husayn ibn Yazid al-Nawfali, on the authority of `Ali ibn Saim, on the authority of Abu Basir that Abu `Abd Allah al-Sadiq said:

“Verily, Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, cannot be described in terms of space, motion, translocation or stillness. Rather, He is the Creator of time, space, motion and stillness. Exalted is Allah from what they say, the Elevated, the Great.
