10-12 Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Attar - may God be pleased with him - narrated that his father quoted Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Isa, on the authority of Uthman ibn Isa, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Miskan that Aba Abdullah as-Sadiq (MGB) said,

“Indeed the Blessed the Sublime God has granted God’s Prophet (MGB) noble characteristics. Try to attain them if you can. If you have them, praise the Honorable the Exalted God and try to reinforce them in yourself. They are as follows: certitude; contentment; perseverance; gratitude; contentedness; being good-tempered; generosity; zeal; bravery and chivalry.”
