16. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Jumhur from Safwan from ibn Muskan from al-Halabi from abu ‘Abdallah about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most gracious. “If they (the unbelievers) propose peace, accept it and trust in God. God is All-hearing and All-knowing.” (8:61). The narrator has said, “I asked the Imam (a.s), ‘What is the meaning of peace?” The Imam (a.s) said, “It is the acknowledgment of our Leadership with Divine Authority.”
