11ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ مُثَنًّى الْحَنَّاطِ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لابِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) تَرِدُ عَلَيْنَا أَشْيَاءُ لَيْسَ نَعْرِفُهَا فِي كِتَابِ الله وَلا سُنَّةٍ فَنَنْظُرُ فِيهَا فَقَالَ لا أَمَا إِنَّكَ إِنْ أَصَبْتَ لَمْ تُؤْجَرْ وَإِنْ أَخْطَأْتَ كَذَبْتَ عَلَى الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.
11. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Washsha’ from Muthanna al-Hannat from Abu Basir who has said the following:
“I asked Abu ‘Abdillah , 'There come to us matters which we do not find in the Book of Allah or in the Sunnah, so we consider them (using our opinion).' He
said, 'No, indeed, if you are correct, you will not be rewarded, and if you are wrong, you will have lied against Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.'"”
