Muhammad ibn al-Hasan said: “Imam عليه السلام only did not command her to make up the prayer when she did not know that upon her there is a ritual bath (ghusl) for every two prayers, and she did not know what is binding upon the woman with irregular bleeding (mustahadah). As for when there is knowledge of that, then deliberately leaving it makes making it up obligatory upon her.”
