قال الشيخ رحمه الله:) فان مرض قبل ان يكمل الشهر الاول بالصيام أو بعد ان اكمله قبل ان يكون صام من الثاني شيئا فافطر للمرض فليس عليه في كلا الحالين الاستقبال(. يدل على ذلك ما رواه
The Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى have mercy on him, said: “If he becomes ill before completing the first month by fasting, or after completing it before he has fasted anything from the second, and he breaks the fast because of illness, then in both cases he does not have to begin anew (istiqbal).” What indicates that is what he narrated (in the following hadith):
