فالوجه في هذين الخبرين من كان صيده لقوته وقوت عياله فاما من كان صيده للهو فلا يجوز له التقصير على ما بيناه
So the interpretation of these two reports applies to one whose hunting is for his sustenance and the sustenance of his family. As for the one whose hunting is for amusement, then it is not permissible for him to shorten (the prayer), as we have explained.
