Muhammad ibn al-Hasan said: “The ruling I issue is according to what this report contains. As for the reports we presented earlier stating that the Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, experienced forgetfulness and then performed prostrations, they are in agreement with the reports of the general public (‘ammah). We only mentioned them because the legal rulings they contain are acted upon, as we have clarified.”
