Then, the Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, said: "It is necessary for her to refrain from performing prayer, and this is a matter upon which there is no disagreement among Muslims. This is also supported by the first Hadith which states: 'She should leave prayer,' as this is a mandatory command. Then, the Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, said: 'She should not approach the mosque except in passing, nor should she touch the Quran or any written name of Allah سبحانه وتعالى on any object.' This has been sufficiently discussed in the chapter on janabah (ritual impurity due to seminal discharge), and it provides adequate evidence, as Allah سبحانه وتعالى wills. Then, the Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, said: 'Fasting is also not permissible for her.' This, too, is a matter of consensus, and it is also supported by other evidence."
