قَالَ مُصَنِّفُ هَذَا الْكِتَابِ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ يَعْنِي الَّتِي لَيْسَتْ بِحُبْلَى فَأَمَّا الْحُبْلَى فَإِنَّهَا تُرَدُّ.
The compiler of this book, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى have mercy on him, explains: This ruling applies to a bondwoman who is not pregnant. However, if she is pregnant, she must be returned.
