قَالَ مُصَنِّفُ هَذَا الْكِتَابِ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ يَعْنِي بِذَلِكَ الْمَتَاعَ الَّذِي هُوَ مِنْ مَتَاعِ النِّسَاءِ وَ الْمَتَاعِ الَّذِي هُوَ يَحْتَاجُ إِلَيْهِ الرِّجَالُ كَمَا تَحْتَاجُ إِلَيْهِ النِّسَاءُ فَأَمَّا مَا لَا يَصْلُحُ إِلَّا لِلرِّجَالِ فَهُوَ لِلرَّجُلِ وَ لَيْسَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ بِمُخَالِفٍ لِلَّذِي قَالَ لَهُ مَا لِلرِّجَالِ وَ لَهَا مَا لِلنِّسَاءِ وَ بِاللَّهِ التَّوْفِيقُ.
The compiler of this book, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى have mercy on him, said: This refers to belongings that are typically used by women and belongings that are commonly needed by both men and women. As for items that are suitable only for men, they belong to the man. This narration does not contradict the previous one, which stated that the man is entitled to what is for men and the woman to what is for women. And Allah سبحانه وتعالى grants success.
